At 7 years old, I was cranking out play scripts like I had a boss to impress. The boss? My parents, who wholeheartedly watched me perform my one-woman shows in the living room.
When I was 9, I wrote my first breakup song. Not sure who I was breaking up with, but I had braces and a lisp, so it definitely wasn’t a boy.
Then, there was the great epiphany of 2019. My dad took me to a showing of the British Arrow Awards, and I realized I could make money telling stories and making ads. Who knew?

I won’t pretend I’m the best writer you’ve ever met. Or second best. Or third.
But I’m curious, passionate, and I like finding beauty in the mundane (my friends call me Couch, after all).
When I’m not caught up in the ordinaries of life, I love leaping blindly into my discomfort zone. I usually find bits of chaos there, which ultimately morph me into a more interesting, non-conforming person. Although I do still love a Starbucks PSL. Sue me.
